Old Irish Farmhouse is a cosy farm B&B in Co. Kerry, Ireland surrounded by some of the best scenery the Dingle Peninsula has to offer.
It has a choice of comfortable double and triple rooms in its traditional but nicely renovated farmhouse. Breakfast is provided and there is a shared kitchen at your disposal all day.
The house is on a working sheep farm and guests are welcome to tour the farm and, in season, join in feeding the lambs or other farm tasks.
The area is quite isolated but there are many lovely walking trails which pass by the farm. For example, it is very near Ceann Sleibhe, or Slea Head, a well-known point on scenic driving routes around Dingle.
Dún Chaoin (Dunquin), where the ferry for the Blasket Islands leaves, is 6km away, with the main town of Dingle being around 16km.
WHAT OTHER GUESTS SAY:
“The location is breathtaking and we were greeted with a friendly face asking us immediately if we wanted to hold and feed the baby lambs! What a welcome. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with self serve snacks and Toasties and coffee and tea…..”
“The view was simply amazing! The road to get there is a typical small Irish road, so be ready to take your time with the drive and be willing to drive 10/20 minutes to be able to get dinner! However, they allowed us to use the kitchen to cook dinner so if you are looking to disconnect, it is definitely the place!….”
