Agriturismo La Piana

On a hillside surrounded by fruit and olive groves just outside Buggiano Castello, and near to both Pisa and Lucca, this 13th century Tuscan agriturismo farmhouse makes for a luxurious holiday experience, with its outdoor pool (From March to November) and sun loungers, hot tub, bowling green, football pitch and playground.

The interior is rustic with a variety of suites and rooms, all with mini bar and air-con and all with antique furniture, old stone walls and beautiful terracotta and wood ceilings.

Breakfast at La Piana Hotel is a generous Tuscan buffet served on the terrace in summer and in the cosy fireplace breakfast room in winter. The farm produces its own extra virgin olive oil which is of course available to taste and to buy to take home.

The helpful staff offer maps and advice about the local area and they can arrange entry to local museums, events and attractions, like the nearby hot springs at Montecatini Terme.
