Just outside Maclear, in the beautiful Eastern Cape of South Africa, the farmland surrounding this very homely and friendly farmstay B&B is lush, green, and very beautiful.
They have horses, cattle, and sheep grazing all around, along with a garden with barbecue facilities.
Their rooms, some with private bathrooms, are clean and comfortable and there’s a sociable shared kitchen and lounge.
You’re free to cook for yourself in the kitchen, or meals, including packed lunches, can be provided for an extra charge.
The surrounding area is great to explore and there are plenty of opportunities for hiking and fishing; ask the friendly owners for advice.
There is WiFi, though it is limited in some of the rooms.
