Just outside the tiny village of Tonteldoos, in the east of Limpopo, South Africa, Wooly Bugger Farm Stay has a great range of self-catering accommodation on a working farm that also specializes in fishing.
It has two large trout dams stocked with brown and rainbow trout and guests are welcome to fish as much as they like.
Their accommodation is very clean and comfortable with each unit having its own kitchen, lounge, open fireplace, and patio.
The main attractions are the farmland and the landscapes that surround it. They’re great for hiking, mountain biking, and of course fishing.
There are plenty of opportunities to watch some of the wildlife that comes and goes around the farm.

“Woolley Bugger Farm is beautifully situated 22km of off road driving (20-30 mins) out of Dullstroom through lovely landscape. On arrival we had a nice, detached house with wonderful views across the fishing ponds (they hire rods to). Great marked walks around their land and marvellous selection of plants and wildlife. The house had all we needed from kitchen to bathroom and a covered porch with BBQ. There’s amazingly even two local places to eat…..”
