In Gustavus, Southern Alaska near the spectacular Glacier Bay National Park, Annie Mae Lodge has a selection of comfortable B&B rooms in a beautifully remote setting surrounded by meadow fields and friendly horses. There is a very good restaurant on site too, serving some of the best local produce especially seafood, and the hospitable owners can also provide lunch boxes for hiking trips. The area is great for hiking, and all sorts of other outdoor activities can be arranged too, like fishing, whale watching, sea kayaking and mountain biking. Dinner was 5 stars. Location was breathtaking and spectacular , walking distance to the beach.
